An Important Note Concerning the Photos Here.Read the byline on the entries. I do not want folks crediting me with the creations from Wil's hand. I have already received a couple of emails about his photos, telling me how great photo such and such is, and I want it to be known that those are his work, not mine.

Vince Posted by: Pantano at October 1, 2007 04:22 PM Which art is that? Photography, or digital image manipulation? There is a difference. I'm not trying to take anything from Wil, because his work is indeed very impressive, and I would love to learn many of the Photoshop techniques he employs, but it is important to note the difference between a photo and an image. And tomorrow night, I'll be focused on shooting Bret Michaels. In Iraq you shoot what you can, it's not as though we have a huge number of shooting possibilities here. Posted by: David Earney at October 4, 2007 01:09 AM Having spent my years in Iraq (1/2 as many as Dave)...I can attest to often feeling sympathetic towards Dave as I know that he is stuck in a place with almost zero osubject matter...he is really forced to shoot what comes to the base...and that all too often is people... I know that dave will have more once he leaves...but in the meantime my"karate" would appear more strong. lol Posted by: dangrboi at October 4, 2007 09:33 AM |
